The GreenICT foundation is an independent non-profit organisation active in the crossover field of ICT and sustainability. Our focus is sustainable ICT. In this we distinguish ourselves clearly comparing to other organisations who combine ICT and sustainability. In general they apply ICT in behalf of sustainability. Until now the importance of more sustainable ICT isn’t recognized (scarcely). The GreenICT Foundation dedicates itself to the "sustainabilisation" of ICT technology.
